  • That was before. When I was home and safe and in comfortable footwear. Not surrounded by a swirling, faceless crowd. Not surrounded by magic. Of course, I was bolder then. Braver. Compared to the relative safety of the solid, mundane halls of the palace—who wouldn’t be?

    FOR EVER AFTER

  • ‘The people in these parts, the ones inside,’ my voice betrays me, catching in my throat, ‘are they utterly ordinary too?’ The smile he flashes sends a startling thrum through my pulse. ‘Perhaps now we should define ordinary.’

    FOR EVER AFTER

  • ‘And where are we up to in these fine proceedings?’ His gaze glides over the two of us, then returns to Eros with a wicked grin. ‘Ah yes. My favourite part.’

    FOR EVER AFTER

  • Love leaves. It always leaves. Through choice or death, one way or another it disappears.

    FOR EVER AFTER

  • ‘Don’t be ridiculous.’ Draven leans against the merchant’s stand and crosses his arms. ‘I live in the After. Should the boy die, I would have to look at his stupid face from my living room window.’

    FOR EVER AFTER

  • I brush my thumb across his skin, grazing the light stubble at his jaw. ‘Tell me again, what is it you were searching for.’  ‘You,’ he returns, his voice raw. ‘In every iteration, whoever you are, however you appear. Again, and again. For almost a hundred years.’

    FOR EVER AFTER

  • The past is gone, and fate is determined in its path. Grow from it. Do not let it rule you. You have your own story, your own ending, to concern yourself with.

    FOR EVER AFTER

  • I stayed up WAY too late last night because I could not put this down!!! I can't wait to finish it, I cannot stop thinking about this book.

  • I felt everything, I cried, I gasped, I shouted as I read. I couldn’t put it down.

  • Your dialogue is fantastic. No notes. It’s authentic, I love the banter, the flirting, the personality we’re getting in it. It feels real, some of the best I’ve seen!

  • My only regret is that I can’t buy a copy yet and lend it out to all my friends and family to read because I know they’d love it to!

Reader feedback for FOR EVER AFTER

  • I absolutely was RIVETED. I could not put this book down. I loved every single element . . . The story just absolutely held my attention from the first sentence until the very last.

  • I'm eating this up. I feel like I'm reading a book that's already published.

Reader feedback for FOR EVER AFTER

  • I know I keep saying it, but I'm loving this book. I think it's fantastic. Your characters, your setting, your worldbuilding. They're just CHEF'S KISS!

  • I love Eros as a character. Like I said in my overall feedback he reminds me of Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle in the best way! I felt like he had real depth to him, he’s not just a love interest in the story, he’s his own person.

  • I related to Alyssa immensely as I read. I think the way that she feels she has no value, that she feels like she doesn’t have worth and is all alone is so relatable. I’ve felt that way my whole life, and I loved seeing that represented in a book, in a character. I loved that we could see her light, even when she doesn’t see it in herself.

  • I was floored by this manuscript, and I have still been thinking about it days after. That never happens for me. This was special.
